Archiving every laughed vow…
Jacob + Emily
For those of you who don't know me, I'm DJ.
I've had the privilege of being JP's best friend for the last nine years.
And it's an honor to stand here today as his best man.
They say that marriage is a 50 50 partnership But if you believe that, you clearly know nothing about women, all fractions.
Marriage is about 100 commitment from both sides, an eternal promise through life's different seasons, and a pledge of loyalty, love, and compassion.
We are here today to celebrate the commitment between JP and Erin.
Let me tell you the story of how JP met the love of his life.
They started talking.
Now, you would know the running joke, six month running joke It's coming up.
Brace yourselves.
They started talking, but Erin was cautious of this Brockbutt man, knowing that part, that reputation from that part of the country.
She left him in the friend zone for more than six months before finally agreeing to hold his hand.
Luckily, his persistence paid off, and here we are today celebrating their love.
Erin, even though JP has turned slightly more gray since he's met you,
he has transformed into a wonderful man over the last three years.
You're a beautiful person inside and out, and you deserve to be with a good man.
Thank God JP married you before you found one.
No, seriously.
You two make an amazing couple, and you're both such genuine people.
I'm honored to share this special day with you.
Rosemary, you look absolutely beautiful tonight, as always.
You have raised an amazing, gentle, kind, and beautiful man.
Without you, I would not have this someone to call my best friend.
Yes.
JP, I don't think he's ever seen me cry.
You've been my best friend for almost a decade now, and I've seen you grow into the incredible person you are today.
I honestly feel so blessed that our paths have crossed ways.
Thank you for always being so kind, humble, and such a good friend.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's.
You are truly a brother to me.
I don't know.
I'm going to lost my wedding.
I'm so lucky to have witnessed the journey you've had over the last nine years from arriving in Australia, learning to speak English, although still a work in progress,
finding your passion, forging your career and now finding the love of your life.
You found someone who shares your life adventure in the great outdoors.
I pray that God will bless you in your new season of life filled with love and family.
Let's raise a glass to JP and Aaron.
May your life together be filled with endless adventures,
laughter and maybe just a few more stories to start with.
Remember that time.
